Potluck for

Furlough Food & Fellowship in Greenbelt

Sunday 1/27/2019 4:00 - 6:00 pm

Beth Tindall

Greenbelt Community Church
1 Hillside Drive
Greenbelt MD 20770

We would like to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for Greenbelters to interact and eat together, as well as provide food and household items to individuals impacted by the government shutdown. We encourage everyone to come for food and/or fellowship to show those who are furloughed that people care! Bring as little or as much as you would like to share. It's absolutely okay to show up and eat without bringing something! It's okay to come and take food home without staying to socialize. If you can spare some food items or household items, we'll have a table set aside for folks to grab what they need. Anything not claimed will be donated to Help-by-Phone. Leftover food will be donated to shelters nearby who are set up to provide meals to those in need.
