Special Instructions
Time and Location: UKirk meets at USA's Student Center on campus. We are looking for someone who is willing to cook and help transport food over to campus. What has worked well is having people meet Lauren at her office at Spring Hill Presbyterian at 6:30pm, and then following her over to campus to set up the food. We meet in a classroom, so the food will need to come prepared (Cooking at Spring Hill could be possible for those coming from longer distances. Just let Lauren know so she can check availability with the church) - no oven or kitchen in our meeting space! Also, we do have a little bit of a walk when it comes to carrying things from the car to the classroom. *LAUREN BRINGS THE FOLLOWING: Plates, napkins, forks, spoons, knives. She can bring bowls and cups as well if requested. Please stay and enjoy dinner with us. We gather/eat from 7-7:30pm and then we part with the people providing meals so that we can go into a time of Bible study/worship as a community. Number of students: We've had about 14-18 students each meeting, but we are continually growing so feel free to check in with Lauren Peters, the campus minister, about numbers before preparing food (706-296-3771). Lauren's hours are Monday-Thursday, 9-4:30pm, and Sundays 2-4:30pm. Cost: You can either choose to be reimbursed for your purchases by provided receipts to Lauren Peters, or you can donate the meal to the campus ministry!
