Contact the church office if any food needs to be dropped after 8:30 a.m. Kitchen “A” door(stairwell to kitchen) will be open at 3:30 p.m., or you can use the north door on Building A. off atrium 5:00-5:30 p.m. Arrive and start warming/preparing for Room in the Inn guests. Please be prepared to serve the meal around 6:00. Guests arrive between 5:30 and 6:30 depending on traffic. Leave the kitchen clean for the morning breakfast crew. Clean sinks, wash serving things and put them away. Make DECAF coffee only for night guests.

Favorite Meals or Restaurants

Meal Suggestions: Meat/starch/one or two veggies/bread/drink and dessert for your total count. Avoid spicy foods and consider diabetics in planning a meal. Healthy salads are a plus for them and can be used as one veggie. Hearty soups and trimmings. You will need to bring: 1-2 gallons of sweet decaf tea and 1-2 gallons of lemonade. This is governed by the amount of people from your class. A team will arrive to make sandwiches if they are not already made. Please do not leave any food for the driver to take with them in the morning. Take all foods home. Leave only a pitcher of water for our guests overnight. Paper goods are available in the storage closet. Ice, Butter, salt and pepper are available. Tables are set up for you that will seat 35. If your class has more than 15 attending set up more tables and chairs.

Least Favorite Meals

Due to our encouragement to serve healthy foods, please limit desserts to a minimum amounts of cakes and pies and include a fruit dish as a dessert. Make DECAF coffee only. Leave a pitcher of water and some cups out on the table overnight.
