Meals - Kristen & Kristin aren’t picky and love a variety of foods. Their go-tos are tacos, pizza, grilled meat and veggies, stir fry, fresh salads, pasta dishes/pasta salads, macaroni & cheese - but they like pretty much everything and appreciate the love that goes into whatever you make! Restaurants - Himalayan Restaurant, Momo Sushi, Zen Box, Chimborazo, Thai food (they are in the market for a new fave since their neighborhood spot closed - open to your recommendations!), BBQ, Any wood-fire style pizza or Jet’s Pizza

Meal Instructions

Kristen & Kristin look forward to introducing the baby to you- their community! Please text ahead of time to see if the family is up for visitors. (Kristen Hoyles: 612-750-3845/Kristin Gilbert: 218-368-3135) If yes, make plans with them for your visit. If no, please put the food in the cooler outside. If possible, please deliver the food in containers that do not need to be returned, and please clearly label any containers you would like returned to you with your name. Please note: The family is being cautious of COVID with the little one. Please screen yourself and your household for COVID symptoms before stopping by- even just to drop off food. If you or anyone in your household has any COVID symptoms, please stay home. If you or someone in your household was diagnosed with COVID, please wait at least 2 weeks from the positive test to bring food or visit. Anyone invited into the home or to visit the baby is required to wear a mask. Quality masks such as N95 or KN95 are preferred. Willow (the dog, aka Kristen & Kristin’s first baby) has been a little nervous/reactive around children and people she doesn’t know well. Kristin and Kristen will put Willow in her crate upon your arrival. Please ignore her as best you can during your visit. Do not pet or attempt to pet her.

Help Instructions

Healing, learning how to be parents, and bonding with the new baby is a joyous and exhausting time! The family would very much appreciate any help you’d be willing to offer during your visit, such as doing some dishes, taking out the trash/recycling, etc. Walking Willow: Willow has a handful of trusted/beloved people in her life - you know who you are! Kristen & Kristin would very much appreciate your support to give Willow the exercise, attention, and play she needs in the first few weeks as their focus will be on the baby. A nice walk and/or a game of fetch in the yard from some of Willow’s favorite people would be very much welcome.
