Participants may choose to purchase from those sites, or from another site of their choosing. If a friend mentioned a Gift Card in a booked date, that has no functional role. We recommend that you reach out to your friend to learn how they intend to get the gift card to you.

How do I use a gift card I received on my Meal Train calendar?
Gift cards are usually sent to the recipient's email address. If you received the gift card in your Inbox (it's typically a long string of characters and a unique pin number), you would use it directly with the merchant on the card. For example, if it's a GrubHub gift card, you'd go to the GrubHub website to order delivery from a local restaurant and use the gift card as payment.
Can I transfer my donation fund to a gift card?
Unfortunately, there is no option to convert the Donation Fund into gift cards. The donations must be withdrawn to a bank account.
