Thank you to all the volunteers that participated in our February Nomadic Shelter, we successfully served 20 grateful guests. The rain keeps on flowing so let us keep our love flowing, preparing a warm and inviting setting for Tuesday, March 21st. NOTE - In addition to our regular 4th Tuesday hosting event, we just added (2) two additional hosting evenings, for the 3rd Tuesday of March and April. Our format will remain the same this month and include welcoming our guests with loving hearts, friendly conversations, a hot meal, musical entertainment (thank you John for sharing your talents), fun activities, and a warm place to bed down for the night. Please know that our guest are very appreciative of the loving care that you all provide so generously. For our Tuesday, March 21, 2023 hosting evening we will provide marinated pork loin, mashed potatoes, brown gravy, fresh sauteed green beans, apple sauce, green salad, fresh fruit, and brownies/cookies for dessert. We will plan on having food for 40 people and ask that our Nomadic Shelter team supply this "potluck" dinner. Besides providing food, volunteers are needed to host our guests, serve the food and beverages to the guests, and help with clean-up. We respectfully request that ALL volunteers sign up through the Meal Train platform rather than just showing up. Schedule: 5:15 Table and chairs setup, table decorating, food prep begins 5:40 Prepared food delivered to kitchen 5:45 Hospitality orientation by the hospitality leaders. 6:00 - 6:15 Guests arrive 6:15 - 7:30 Music Time 6:15 - 6:30 Dinner service begins, starting with the guests. 7:30 Activities 7:30 Cleanup begins.
