You have been invited to help with the Hope Cottage Ministry on Friday, July 8th You are a blessing to this ministry through your prayers, donations and service. If you are providing food or serving food, please be sure to have the food and/or yourselves there by 5:30 pm. Dinner is served promptly at 6pm, therefore, we need to be sure we are all ready at 5:30 pm with our team and supplies. If you need to use the kitchen to bake your pizza, you are welcome to do so and can come early to do that. Be sure to wash hands in the hand washing sink when you arrive and you will NEED to wear the provided gloves if you are serving or cooking food in order to help the facility maintain their good standing with the health department. **All who have hair of any length, you will need to put it in a hair net(provided). E we welcome you to eat, talk and pray with the residents in the dining room, NOT in the kitchen as that is against their health codes. Adults and teens 14 and up can be serving food, praying with the residents, eating with the residents and getting to know them in the name of Jesus Christ. Children can pray, eat and get to know the residents. We will not be needed for clean up as the residents take care of that and take pride and ownership of those tasks. The women and children are provided with breakfast and dinner Monday-Friday and three meals a day on the weekends. They all also receive government assistance and have more than enough to purchase their own lunches with those funds. Hope Cottage wants to avoid anything that can cause dissension and/or hoarding of food. Hope Cottage would like us to promptly package up the food after everyone has had their fill for the night, so that they can use the left overs to serve another night or to help supplement breakfast. Hope Cottage has a clothing closet, toiletries area and other donations that the residents can utilize. Should anyone from FBC feel the calling to provide any supplies to Hope Cottage, please donate them at the thrift shop called Thrift for Goodness Sake downtown on Phoenix and Beaver Hope Cottage is happy to provide a list of needed items by calling (928) 774-9270. Thank you for your generous hearts! Thank you for being the hands and feet of Christ to the Hope Cottage women and children. You are such a blessing to this ministry and we couldn't do it without you! **If you would like to be removed from this email list, please simply email Nevitta at email@example.com and put "Remove from Hope" in the memo line, no questions asked or hard feelings.**
Chapel time: this is sweet time for you to bring a message about 20 to 30 minutes long. The message could be a story of hope that God did in your life, your testimony, a teaching, special prayer time etc. You’ll have 20 to 25 ladies to share with an intimate setting. Chapel Prayer Warrior: You’ll get to open and close chapel time in prayer as well as stick around for women wanting individual prayer after chapel time. Chapel Worship Leader: This can be done sing-along style if you are playing instrument, using a Bluetooth speaker, a cappella or if you’re part of a worship band you can bring the whole gang. We usually sing 4-5 songs before the chapel speaker gives their message and we try to pair the music with the message.
