You have been invited to help with the Hope Cottage Meal Mission on Monday, February 9, 2026. You are a huge blessing to this ministry through your prayers, donations, teaching, worship and service. If you have any questions please reach out to Susan, sclow1958@gmail.com or Paul psmallmeadow@gmail.com If you are providing food or serving food, please be sure to have the food and/or yourselves there by 5:30 pm. Dinner is served promptly at 6pm, therefore, we need to be sure we are all ready at 5:30 pm with our team and supplies. If you need to use the kitchen, you are welcome to do so and can come early to do that. PLEASE LABEL DISHES WITH YOUR NAME AND THEY WILL BE RETURNED TO THE CHURCH BY SUNDAY MORNING. When you arrive, wash hands in the hand washing sink and wear provided gloves if you are serving or cooking food **All who have hair of ANY length, will need to put it in a hair net(provided) or under a hat. In addition, feel free to eat, talk and pray with the residents in the dining room, PLEASE DO NOT EAT in the kitchen as that is against their health codes. Anyone over 14 can serve in the kitchen. All can pray with the residents, eat with the residents and get to know them. Children can put chairs around the tables, pray, eat and get to know the residents. ***VERY IMPORTANT: PUT YOUR PHONE NUMBER IN THE SIGN UP SO THAT IF ANY URGENT NEED TO CHANGE THINGS HAPPENS, WE CAN SEND AN UPDATE.
CHAPEL TIME: If you are volunteering for Chapel Time, be sure to arrive by 6:55PM. This chapel time can be a sharing of your testimony, ways to pray, or God story. Chapel Time Speaker: This person(s) will have about 30 minutes to share. They do not need to be a pastor, elder or leader in our church or have a background in public speaking. This is an intimate setting where you will have about 20 ladies listening. Chapel Time Prayer Leader: This is a sweet need. This person opens the chapel time in prayer and closes it in prayer. In addition, this person sticks around and invites the women to come up to them after chapel time for specific prayers. You get to learn more about their needs and some women have come to accept Jesus into their hearts.
