Allergies or Restrictions

Matthew requires a gluten-free meal. There are three ways to handle this as a meal provider: 1. Order delivery to the Swards' house from one of the listed restaurants. Please check in with Erika by text the night before to get the family's order, including Matthew's gluten-free order. Erika's number is (202) 491-4147. 2. Order an UberEats or DoorDash gift card to Erika's phone number for the family to place an order from a restaurant, grocery store, or adult beverage provider of their choice :) Please send gift card the night before your sign-up day. Erika's number is (202) 491-4147. And please let one of the organizers know if you need help accessing virtual gift cards on either of these platforms. 3. Prepare a gluten free meal (or a meal with a substantial gluten free option) according to the specific preparation protocols above. If you have questions on the protocols, please contact the organizer on-call (Laura, Kristi, or Nina).

Read labels and ingredients closely. Run all items in the dishwasher. Be mindful of using appliances that have come in contact with gluten. Anything that comes in contact with gluten is no longer gluten free - including soapy water, sponges, countertops, etc.
