Meal Train® for Women's Medical Respite
Thank you for your support of the Women’s Medical Respite! Food donations are a simple way to give back, but so important for our clients and their recovery. You are free to provide this meal in many different ways. For example, some volunteers will make the meal at home and deliver it, some will go buy things to be made at the Respite, and others will have food delivered or pickup premade food to deliver themselves. How you choose to donate is up to you! To meet the needs of our volunteers, we have a listed below instructions for providing meals for our clients. 1. Please call the Respite at 417-225-7409 between 10am and 5pm two days prior to your meal. The house coordinator will help coordinate your food donation, including directions to the Respite, where to park, or how to coordinate a delivery. The house coordinator will also let you know how many clients you will be feeding and if there are any dietary restrictions for the clients. 2. When delivering your donation, you will need to call the Respite at the same number to let the employee currently working know you are on your way, or, to expect a delivery. The door to the building is locked, and you will need to call again when you arrive to be let into the building.
