About this Meal Train page

Hospital Hospitality House of Saginaw is a non-profit organization serving guests from all over Michigan and beyond. Our McNally House is located on the campus of Covenant Healthcare and has 17 guest rooms. We provide a home away from home for guests from out of town when they have a loved one in the hospital. Established in 1984, we have 2 locations servicing all hospitals here in Saginaw County, including Covenant HealthCare, Ascension St. Mary's, Select Specialty Care, Mary Free Bed at Covenant, the Veterans Health Administration Hospital, HealthSource Saginaw, and many other specialty offices when people travel here for surgery, appointments, etc. Covenant HealthCare has the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the region. The 55-bed unit serves the entire Northeastern lower peninsula with some guests even coming from the upper peninsula. The NICU has board-certified neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners that provide 24-hour, in-house coverage. Families with babies in the NICU at Covenant utilize our facility to stay close to be able to care for their baby in the most unsure times. Why am I telling you all of this? We have created a Meal Train to help provide dinners for our house guests and we’re hoping you can help. By signing up to provide a meal, you would be helping these families with so much more than a full stomach. This gives them an opportunity to really rest at least once a day. Sometimes when you are going through some of the scariest moments of your life, it is easy to forget to take care of yourself. By providing a meal, you are reminding a mom that she needs to stay healthy, reminding a husband that he needs to eat, reminding a sister that it's ok to take a deep breath and rest for a moment.
