Thank you!!!!

Posted 03/22/2019 by Beth Swanson

Hello wonderful cooks and dear friends- We are beyond grateful for the meals and prayers you have all sent the Renew families these past few years; God’s love is seen through your meals. We know everyone gets busy and we see the signups have waned. As a result, we are temporarily discontinuing the meal service. If any of you would like to continue or know others who would like to cook, please let us know ASAP. The homes are always very grateful, and we can help arrange delivery etc. In the meantime, please continue to pray for the houseparents and the teens. THANK YOU! Paula and Beth

ReNew Houses Wednesday Meals

Posted 09/14/2018 by Paula Melby

Hi Ladies, We would like to thank you for all your help the last few years feeding the teens living in the ReNew Homes, onsite housing for Eastside Academy students. Two dates we would like to share with you: September 26th – Meal Train delivery starts October 20st – Eastside Academy Auction; 6 pm Meydenbauer Center - refer to for more information. The students are a big part of this event; we hope you will be able to attend. We are a small, but mighty group, and are hoping you will be able to participate again this year in meal preparation and delivery. Hopefully, we can recruit several more participants. The website continues to be the easiest way to sign up for the meals. Currently, three girls and three boys reside at the houses. Please cook a meal for six adults for each house. They all love Wednesday evening meals and truly enjoy the variety; and the "house parents" love a night to relax and just connect with the kids around the dinner table. Fresh fruit is always a welcomed treat. Also, please share this email with your friends! All are welcome to join. This is an easy way to give back to our community and support these kids' hearts, souls and minds. If you're a giver but not a cook, takeout and gift cards work as well! These homes are on a fixed budget so everything is a treat to them and much appreciated. Again, if you have questions, we are happy to help you. And if you are fully committed to your own charitable work, no worries at all; please contribute with your prayer for these homes, these kids, this effort. GOD BLESS and THANK YOU! Save the Date! and final meal sign ups for this school year

Posted 03/09/2017 by Beth Swanson

Hi amazing cooks, Eastside Academy is grateful for our meals and kindness and wants to thank us/meet us with a coffee on Monday May 1 at 11am. Details coming soon but please plan to come by even for a few minutes to meet the new house parents and hopefully some of the students. You really are appreciated for your cooking skills and kind hearts. Also signups are available for the rest of the school year. It will happen very fast! Again, gourmet isn't necessary:). There are as of now 4 girls and 4 (hungry) boys living in each house. Thank you and bless you for feeding your neighbors!

Happy new year!
