My deepest condolences to the Zernik Family on the loss of their precious son, Zach. I will always remember Zach as an exemplary student with his intelligence, kindness, and enthusiasm for learning. My favorite memory of Zach was our third grade garden and recycling program which his whole family was involved with. I would love to contribute to the memorial bench at Aspen Elementary School in Zach's name.

From all of us of Aspen’s PFA, we wanted to send our sincere condolences and wish to support the Zernik family and honor Zack’s memory with a contribution toward his memorial bench at Aspen. Though our times at Aspen never overlapped, we believe that once a Roadrunner, always a Roadrunner. We join the Aspen family and CVUSD community in the support you have received and we will continue to remember Zack and his zest for nature and doing GOOD. We are honored to contribute toward the memorial project as we know Zack’s life will continue at Aspen through his kindness, love for community, and passion for the outdoors, which are traits we desire all Roadrunners to have. With much love, Aspen PFA Denise Lucarelli and Alison Friedman, Co-Presidents
