Meal Train® for Freetail Therapy
Allergies or Restrictions
While we understand that individuals may have allergies or dietary restrictions that require specific types of food, unfortunately, it is not possible for us to cater to these individual needs. The Little Free Pantry relies solely on the donations received from community members, and it's impossible for us to guarantee that every donation will meet specific dietary requirements or be completely allergen-free. Additionally, we don't have the resources to store or prepare specialized meals. However, we do encourage individuals with specific dietary needs to consider donating foods that meet their requirements to the pantry, so that others in similar situations can benefit. We appreciate everyone's understanding and willingness to help those in need.
To ensure the freshness and safety of the items placed in the Little Free Pantry, we ask that you label each container with the date and contents, and tape open containers closed or staple lunch bags shut. Additionally, if you are providing utensils, please place them inside the containers with the food. We understand that each volunteer has their unique way of preparing and packaging meals. We value the individuality that each person brings to the table, and we want to work with you to ensure that your meals are packaged in the best way possible. Whether you prefer reusable or disposable containers, we are happy to discuss your preferences and provide guidance as needed. Our goal is to make the meal preparation process stress-free for our volunteers while ensuring that the meals are safe and sanitary for our recipients. Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any questions or concerns about meal packaging. We are here to support you every step of the way, and we appreciate your dedication to helping those in need in our community. Together, we can make a difference by providing nourishment and care to our unhoused neighbors.
