We did it! Meal Train Complete!

Posted 05/21/2018 by Kelsey Campbell

Friends, we did it! We made it to the end of the school year with meals for the kids/teens. The Food Program has been taken over by the YMCA and they are now ready to prepare and deliver meals for Youth Hope kids this summer and beyond. We cannot thank you enough! We are so grateful to you and the kids want to show their appreciation by sending you a card. Could you please reply to this email with your mailing address as soon as possible? Sincerely, Kelsey Campbell

May meal coverage

Posted 04/12/2018 by Kelsey Campbell

Friends, We have gotten word that the food program may not be up and ready by the beginning of May as we had hoped. With that being said, we are praying this is not the case but want to make sure we have meals ready just in case. Would you be able to look at the calendar and see if there is a day you can commit to? Either weekly or every other week? Our programs would not have been able to stay as consistent as they have without your help this semester, and for that we are so, so grateful. Thank you for loving our students by serving them meals. Almost Done!

Posted 04/04/2018 by Kelsey Campbell

We only have a few weeks left to provide meals for Youth Hope kids before the Meal Service (CACFP) is up and running again through the YMCA. Can you please check the April schedule and see where you might be able to help out? Next week we are still in need of meals. You all have been life savers and we would have had to drastically change our programs without your help and generosity. Thank you! Kelsey Campbell Youth Specialist

Meal Train

Posted 01/31/2018 by Kelsey Campbell

Thank you for providing meals over the last few months! The kids/teens have benefited from your generosity and have been even more grateful for their meals knowing that individuals were paying for them. We have had many conversations about this and it has given us the opportunity to share God's love with them. We have confirmation that beginning May 1st, we will again be able to have meals provided by the state through a new organization. Until then, we will continue to rely on the generosity of individuals and groups to provide our meals. I have opened the Meal Train through April for those of you providing monthly or weekly. Will you please take a moment to sign up for your days through April? This will help us to go further in asking others to participate on the days we still have open. Thank you again! January/February Meals

Posted 01/15/2018 by Kelsey Campbell

We have been extremely blessed with the donations of meals over the last two months. We sincerely thank you!! Most days, kids or teens are here from after school until 7 or 8pm. We certainly wouldn't be able to provide a dinner for them without your support. Last week we didn't have any meals so had to get creative and do a hodge-podge of snacks for dinner! Of course, the kidsloved it, but we can't do that every night. So again, THANK YOU! We are getting closer to our solution but it comes with a lot of red tape and delays, so we will continue to use our Meal Train until that time comes. January and February dates are open now. You did such a great job providing meals in Nov and/or Dec. I was wondering if you would consider signing up for a January meal (or a few, if you are able). Would you also be willing to talk to friends, neighbors, coworkers, church members, etc. to see if they would be willing to sign up for a meal? We couldn't do this without you--our community! If you have any questions, you can contact me directly by phone or text. My personal cell number is 317.658.8057 Thank you, friends! Kelsey Campbell
