Allergies or Restrictions
NO PEANUTS, TREE-NUTS or SESAME. T'chiyah is striving to be an entirely nut-free kitchen. For a list of prohibited ingredients, please go to: http://www.tchiyah.org/ingredients_to_avoid Food does not need to be hekshered (certified kosher), but all food should be vegetarian or pescetarian. Shellfish, pork products, and meat in general is prohibited, per congregational kashrut policy.

NOTE: WE ARE STRIVING TO BE A STRICTLY NUT & SESAME-FREE SYNAGOGUE. For more info on our nut and sesame-free policy, go to: www.tchiyah.org/policies - please note that this is a new practice, so be extra careful if you have these allergies! 1) To bring KIDDUSH, please provide: 2 uncut loaves of bread (challah preferred), 2 bottles of grape juice or wine (non-kosher is okay), and a sweet or fruit to share. 2) To bring BRUNCH for the Brunch & Learn, please bring: brunch items like bagels, cheese(s), spreads, egg dishes, salads, and cakes to feed approximately 30 people. 3) To bring SNACK (for BBB): please provide fresh fruit, vegetables and dip, and pre-packaged snack foods (crackers, cereal bars, yogurt, etc.) to feed approximately 20 people. *** Please bring only fresh foods and prepackaged foods that are MADE IN A FACILITY THAT DOES NOT PROCESS NUTS, PEANUTS, or SESAME. ***
