Special Instructions

The Gomez family is so appreciative of your outpouring of love during this difficult time. They would love to sit and visit with each of you; however, protecting Geneva's immune system is their highest priority during this early stage of her battle. We brainstormed with Adolfo to get some ideas. After we wore him down, he shared with us his family food favorites. Hope this is helpful. Again, the Gomez family extends their gratitude to all their friends, family, acquaintances, and even strangers who have offered their prayers, love, and support during this time. Protocol • It is crucial during this time that no germs are introduced into the home. Meals are SO appreciated by the Gomez family, but they must keep the inside of the house as protected as possible for Geneva’s well-being. Therefore, per the CHOC doctors and staff, no visitors allowed in the house. Veronica and Adolfo express their deep gratitude and love shown for Geneva and their family. They will continue to keep us updated as much as possible. • Please deliver between 5:30-6PM on your day. Please do not knock on the door. • Please put items in cooler on front porch with any heating/serving directions attached. • Disposable containers only please so they don’t have to worry about returning pots, etc. • Please indicate on sign up if you will be dropping it off at Rio Vista Elementary or at the house. Please be assured if you drop off at Rio Vista and Adolfo is unexpectedly not there, a staff member will drop it off at their house. • If delivering food to Rio Vista for Adolfo to take home, please make sure to label it and put it in the staff refrigerator. Send a text or email to remind him it’s in the fridge so he can grab it on his way out. If not a Rio Vista staff member, please deliver to front office and they will place it in staff refrigerator. • No sushi or raw food due to the possibility of bacteria.
