Hearty soups, grainy salads, roasted veggies - anything with some protein and some greens! We are so lucky to have so many good restaurants within a mile or so.. Some of our fav local restaurants: The Kitchen (roasted chicken soup, soup of the day, meatloaf), Mendocino Farms (chefs creations), Larchmont Bungalow (Salmon Spinach Salad), Sweetgreens (seasonal special bowl), Bodega Park (Aji Chicken Breakfast Burrito), Pho Cafe (beef pho or bun w/ fish), Silver Lake Ramen (Tsukemen with pork and extra noodles), Spitz (Berliner doner), Zankou Chicken (half chicken w/ tabouleh), Ceci’s Gastronomia (whatever looks good), Honey Hi (a few bowls, they have smaller portions)
