Sam Jones Hall Shelter

About this Meal Train

Many of you provided amazing help serving meals to residents of over the years through the winter shelter program at Sam Jones Hall. We are excited to announce that as of late 2017 those temporary winter beds have been converted to additional year-round beds with full supportive services for those folks who need our help getting back into homes of their own. Since the expansion of our adult shelter, we are looking for volunteers who are willing to provide, prepare, deliver, and serve meals to these individuals. Dinner is served promptly at 6:00pm to residents, so volunteers should arrive no later than 5:00pm to drop off food, or begin preparation of serving. Please be sure to read the special instruction portion below. Once signed-up, to find out location, please contact Volunteer Coordinator, Emily Thiessen at or at (707)528-8712 ext. 160. Don't have time to make a meal at home but would like to volunteer to help serve dinner at the shelter? Contact Emily Thiessen to learn how to get involved! We are open to all and any volunteers interested in getting involved. Don't have time to make a meal but would like to make a financial donation? Donate below!
