Currently, the Long Term kitchen is undergoing an unexpected closure and repair, temporarily cutting off youth access to their ability to cook meals. During this time we have decided to open additional volunteer opportunities for SAY’s Meal Train, which also helps to feed youth staying in our short term shelter. If you are able to volunteer at this time, we would gratefully welcome a homemade meal cooked with love and delivered to the SAY Dream Center. Thank you in advance for helping us keeping Sonoma County’s most vulnerable youth safe all year around, but especially during these times! New social distancing protocol are in place for Meal Train deliveries and we ask all volunteers use appropriate sanitary measures for preparing food, per SAY’s food safety agreement. We are also requesting that volunteers only sign-up to cook a meal if their household is in good health. We are so grateful to SAY’s amazing volunteers who care deeply about the youth we serve. If you have any questions or concerns regarding Meal Train, please don't hesitate to reach out to SAY's Development Associate: Volunteer & Annual Giving, Amie Windsor by cell at 509-496-8172 or email at amie.windsor@saysc.org.
