About this Meal Train
Who would have known the many ways in which the coronavirus outbreak would affect our families, our community and the world? Yet, here we are. Our staff and residents have remained healthy and we're doing our best to occupy the time in constructive ways. However, meal planning is one area in which we're feeling the increased strain. In order to help residents maintain sufficient social distance - and that's nearly impossible when residents are cooking and eating together - we set up this meal train.
Would you - your church group, club or staff - help us by signing up to provide dinner for our residents?
Food items should be store- or restaurant-bought. For a list of restaurants providing carry-out, go to visithendrickscounty.com/community/restaurants. If possible, please refer to what others are bringing and attempt to provide variety for our residents. (Please refrain from bringing pizza unless you've already signed up to bring it.) And, if you are able to include paper plates and napkins, that would be a great help.
Thank you so much for your generosity and support during this unprecedented season.
