Today was a huge day! They took him to rehab today. He is going to a facility in Vero until knee surgery in 2 to 3 weeks, and hopefully by that time we are able to raise enough money to get him into the rehab in Jacksonville. Rehab wasn’t supposed to be for another few days to several days but the doctors feel that they have done everything they could medically for him and now it was time to strengthen his muscles, work to get him walking, and focus on his brain healing. We have such a long road ahead but I know he is strong and has already come further than we ever thought he would. His memory is a mess, he angers quickly, and he has very little impulse control, and he has so much to re-learn, but he’s got this, and God and all of us have his back!! Please keep the prayers coming!! And thank you for everything you have all done to show your love and support! #SINGLEYSTRONG 💪🏼🙏🏻❤️

Our world..our life... As most of you know my husband, Bubba was in a horrific motorcycle crash on Friday, February 19th. The injuries that resulted from that accident are a fractured sinus, broken clavicle, 8 broken ribs, severely damaged lungs, a 10” gash on his calf and the entire side of his knee ripped open (tissue and skin graft required to close it), a frontal lobe brain bleed, and a diffuse axonial injury which is a severe traumatic brain injury. He started his fight on a ventilator, requiring machines and 12-15 different medications at any given time to keep him alive. He is now down to six meds and no machines, but the brain injury has left him with many limitations and an extremely difficult road ahead of him. He desperately needs specialized rehab so we can give him the best chance to regain as much as he can. At this time he has to relearn how to walk, write, read, feed himself, and control his body. Though we have options for other rehab facilities, Brooks Rehab center in Jacksonville is going to give him the best chance of recovering and give him a strong foundation for continued care. We are so thankful for all the love and support and could not be more grateful to everyone! Please share the link attached And if you are able to donate, please do, and if you aren’t, please continue to pray, those prayers have gotten us this far and will continue to help us along on this insane roller coaster! We have upped the amount on the link because we have to come up with $25,000 cash up front for the care he needs. And we don’t have medical insurance and his motorcycle insurance doesn’t have enough coverage. So please anything is helpful and greatly appreciated. https://mealtrain.com/m66mvl There will also be a fundraiser hosted by Strike Zone Entertainment Center on March 26, 2021 from 12-9 pm. There will be music, raffles, bowling, as well as shirts that may be ordered and bracelets (#SINGLEYSTRONG) #SINGLEYSTRONG #GODSGOTTHIS #TEAMBUBBA

They need all the help they can get!!! Thus is Niki's daily update♥️ He has made amazing progress! Defying everything the doctors have said and we could not be more thankful! Though he still has multiple surgeries to undergo and likely a few more weeks here, We are now looking for a rehab facility...unfortunately we don’t have medical insurance and his motorcycle insurance doesn’t have enough coverage, so we have to find our own way! We are desperate to get him into Brooks Rehab facility in Jacksonville, FL it is the absolute best chance he will have to gain as much of his strength and bring him back to us as much as they can...So we are now doing everything we can to raise the $25,200 we need to get him admitted as a self pay. The Drs here are reaching out in every way they can to try and help and as much as I hate to ask if you are in any way able to help, please do! And if not, please keep the prayers coming and on them please include us finding a way to get him the treatment he needs! Any donations can be brought to the the restaurant, made on the meal train link, or can be sent to me, please PM for an address. Thank you all so much for everything!!! #SINGLEYSTRONG #GODSGOTTHIS #TEAMBUBBA https://mealtrain.com/m66mvl

Unfortunately things have not changed, his prognosis is poor. So we need everyone who believes in a higher power to please send up healing prayers for this man!! His time here isn't done♥️ this family needs all the support possible during this time!! From Niki, "No new news, and no changes in prognosis, just doing everything we can! Please keep the prayers coming and know how appreciated and loved all of you are."❤️💪🏼🙏🏻 #SINGLEYSTRONG

The amount of support that has been shown by each and everyone of you is absolutely AMAZING!! I'm going to share a quick update from Niki below ♥️ "I just got back to the room for the night and wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for everything that they have done. The level of generosity and love that my family has been shown over the last few days is humbling and to say the very least overwhelming. As many of you know my husband was in a horrible motorcycle accident on Friday night. He has extensive injuries that included a minor brain bleed, broken bones, cracked ribs, and severe damage to his lungs. He is holding his own and fighting like hell. Please keep all the prayers coming! (And I’m not even going to attempt to tag anyone or name anyone by name, the list would be far too long.)Please know that my family and myself are beyond grateful for everything. Sending our love and appreciation to everyone. 🙏🏻💪🏼❤️💯"

Hi guys, everyone local knows my amazing friend Niki Singley. She is owner of our local Sebastian Sandwich Shack!! Unfortunately her husband was in a horrible accident last night and is currently in the ICU. Niki is staying with him or as close as possible to him until she is comfortable enough coming home, her oldest daughter Kaley is going to try to maintain the household as well as keep the Shack up and running during this time (this is their livelihood). They need all the help possible to make everything run as smoothly as it can. With 4 kids to take to & from school, a business to run, appts to keep, and all the other day to day task that comes along with it all, they are going to need all the help they can get!! We don't know how long Bubba will be hospitalized yet, nor do we know the full extent of his injuries. I just wanted to help anyway possible and this was the first step!! Please share, help if you can, this family is AMAZING and they need us now!!! Please feel free to reach out to me, Niki is very overwhelmed as you can imagine!!!
