Please help support our local fire station. As most of you know, ECCFPD is now down to three stations to serve 249 square miles, as the benefit assessment did not pass. We only have three firefighters on staff at each station at a given time. Our firefighters are being stretched thin and have a vast area to cover to keep us safe. Please show your appreciation of these great people by signing up to bring a nice home cooked meal. A Meal Train has already been successfully setup for the Brentwood fire station, it is now our time to step it up in Oakley and show our support for those who keep us safe. Thank you in advance, it is very much appreciated! Unfortunately we cannot leave a cooler at the front, they are concerned that someone may steal it. Please try to check on the PulsePoint app before you bring food. There is a menu item for unit status legend that will let you know what the colors mean, as far as if they are on scene for a call or not. You can also look in the garage when you are there, if all three front spots are full they are there. Oakley Grocery Outlet has offered a 10% discount to people bring Station 93 a meal! Just tell them your name at checkout and that you are buying to make a meal for the firefighters. They will have the list of those that are signed up and will check you off. You will get 10% on your entire purchase! Please bring meals in disposable containers, or containers that do not need to be returned.
