This meal train was created to support the front line staff at Long Island Jewish Valley Stream Hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic. We received many requests from restaurants within our community on how can they help our staff who are at the hospital taking care of the community. Your overwhelming generosity and concern are truly appreciated. Due to the nature of Covid-19 it is better to receive hot individual meals, individual servings if possible, individually wrapped sandwiches hot and cold, individual salads, energy drinks, other beverages, snacks etc. all meals must be delivered to the front lobby for your safety. Please do not deliver directly to the emergency department at this time. Please make sure your driver logs in your company name, email and phone number so we can recognize you via social media posts and thank you all by mail.
