Special Instructions

Please follow these instructions, which are designed for our current COVID-19 response and current regulations and to help our team manage the delivery. They will allow us to feed staff in a way that is safe and that allows for social distancing. Thank you. Some of our donors find it easier to make cash donations in support of the meal train--our team then places the order on your behalf using your generous donation. If you would like to do this, please contact Jill Scibilia at 516-410-3194. 1) Please remember to list the name of the restaurant you are using for the meal -- this helps our team coordinate and manage the delivery. 2) A member of our team will get in touch with you prior to your meal train slot to confirm details. You may also reach them at (914)275-1969. 3) We recommend you call the restaurant and order the meal 5-7 days in advance. This helps the restaurant plan for your generous donation. 4) We are only able to accept food prepared and packaged by a restaurant or pre-packaged food items purchased at a grocery store or food purveyor. 5) We are not able to accept home-cooked food due to health regulations. 6) Due to visitation guidelines, we ask that you arrange for the delivery through the restaurant or delivery service rather than delivering the food yourself. 7) Preference is for meals individually wrapped that we can offer as a "grab and go" for staff. 8) Please avoid sending food trays that would require us to keep the food heated. 9) Packaged snacks and bottles of water and soft drinks are welcome. 10) at the time you order please provide payment and the gratuity for the delivery person to assure delivery.
