Special Instructions
First we wanted to say THANK YOU for visiting this site and helping to prepare meals for Jim, Bo, Rebecca, and Treely. We thought we'd put together a start-up guide to help you help them. Here's what to keep in mind: 1) You've all been so generous, but at this time, we are asking you to choose one or two dates during the 3 month timeframe. The number of people who'd like to help exceeds the available dates in a given Meal Train cycle. 2) PLEASE use containers that can be recycled. Avoiding the need for Bo to return your dishes and pots to you is more helpful than you can imagine. 2) Please deliver your meal between 4:30 & 5:30. The timeframe is important since Jim's tired early and eating together is a goal. If no one is available to take what you've brought, there will be a cooler set out for you to use. 3) We've set up a donation page on this Meal Train for gift certificates. If you'd like to purchase gifts on your own or bring take out for a meal, by all means! Please do not choose spicy foods. Some good local choices are Thai Choice, Markouk Bread, Midori, and Poseidon's. Also note, Meal Train has it's own link to buy gift cards from chain restaurants and stores. We are trying to keep things pretty local and easy to access. Please consider making a general donation instead of using the gift card purchase feature. General meal guidelines below.
