About this Meal Train page
I need your support. My fiancée lost her brother, Mitchell L. Olson, who served 9 years in the Minnesota National Guard/U.S. Army Reserve, to include one Operation Iraqi Freedom rotation, on March 30. His obituary is at the following: https://m.startribune.com/obituaries/detail/0000351858/?fullname=mitchell-l-olson. It was a sudden, traumatic loss. Given the family's inability to properly grieve, and memorial services suspended until after the pandemic abates, I am working to mobilize any and all support possible. If you can find it in your heart to assist, please consider the following: 1. Upload a meaningful sentence or two to his memorial page, given the fact that his mother is surviving off of these posts: https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/anoka-mn/mitchell-olson-9107607; 2. Consider sponsoring a meal on this Meal Train; 3. Make a donation to support the Olson Family via Meal Train, as we're trying to get support sent to the survivors for the next few months. Any unused funds will be placed into a scholarship fund, founded in Mitch's honor. Mitch was profiled on Minnesota's KARE 11 News on April 13. The clip is available via the following: https://www.kare11.com/video/news/community/a-special-honor-for-a-fallen-young-veteran-in-the-age-of-covid-19/89-08a853c9-f8ad-4e2d-936e-7d52952cf6ed. Many thanks for your time, efforts, and consideration in advance.
