COVID-19 Updates

Posted May 14, 2020 by Morgann Kauffman of A Safe Place

Hi all, I hope each of you are staying healthy during this time of social distancing. We are happy to share that the members and staff of A Safe Place have remained well during this time, but we are looking forward to having everyone back together again! As you may have noticed, we have postponed our Meal Train and it will resume on July 1st. This will allow us to ease back into opening our Outreach Center in a couple of weeks, by first starting with staff and members and then bringing volunteers and visitors in starting in July. If you are interested in providing a recipe for the Wednesday's in June that we will be preparing food in-house, feel free to send it to Morgann@asafeplacetogo.com. Another option is to teach a cooking class via Zoom one Wednesday afternoon in June- I would just need the recipe and ingredients ahead of time to purchase on our end. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or ideas and we hope you will consider providing a meal for our members beginning in July. Thank you so much to each of you for your continued support and generosity. We are so grateful for you! Morgann Kauffman Program Manager morgann@asafeplacetogo.com

New location!!

Posted Feb 11, 2019 by Cary Ramsay

Good morning! We wanted to let you all know that we have moved! We are so grateful for each of you that has signed up to bring a meal for our members! They really look forward to it each week. I wanted to make sure that you knew our new address. You can find us at 1960 S 17th St on the second floor. It is a large glass building so you can't miss it! It would be really helpful if you could include your phone number when you sign up for meals just in case we need to reach you for some reason. We noticed with the move that we only have some of your email addresses and we would hate to mess you up for any reason. If you ever need to reach us, you can always call the hotline or you can call Cary at 803-381-6099. Thank you all again!!
