It’s not easy for me to feel purely thankful today because my heart is shattered and I’m in terrible pain over the loss of my daughter, Violet. I am, however, utterly aware of how much harder my life would have been over these last months if not for the love, care and support of you all, my dear community. I have been well fed, provided for, loved and listened to. You have given me ease and comfort amid this tragedy and I will never forget it. Thank you for showing up for me so fiercely.
