Meal Train® for Beacon Soup for Seniors

Special Instructions

About 1-2 weeks before you are providing soup, I will put a bag on the island in the Beacon kitchen with your name on it for you to pick up, containing 6-8 two-cup containers (depending on the number of seniors who sign up.) Please write the date, type of soup and "made by (your name) on the top of each container. Please put at least 1.5 cups of soup in them, but don't fill completely to the top. If some of the seniors cannot come that day, we will either freeze the soup for them to pick up the next week or will give their soup to a person who would be helped by it. On the morning you are signed up for, please bring all the containers you have filled to the church BY 9:30 AM. Please place them in the right side of the kitchen refrigerator, taken out of the box or bag you brought them in, so that we can easily access them. This year I will be providing small rolls to include with the soup. if you would like to provide rolls /bread of your own, feel free to do so. But it is fine to just bring the soup!
