Meal Train for

The Brown Family

Updates

Closure

Posted Aug 24, 2017 by Danielle Zack

Hi foodie friends, Thank you all so much for your generous contributions to the Meal Train for Aaron and the girls. It was impressive to see how many creative Paleo dishes graced my desk every Monday morning! Our last delivery will be this Monday, Aug 28th as per Aaron's request. Aaron thanks you all for your support and kindness. Let's give a special thank you to Tim G. and Nathan P. who delivered most of the meals directly to the Brown's front door each week. And again, I thank each and every one of you for your commitment of this gift to the Brown family. Much love and gratitude, Danielle Zack

Changes to the schedule

Posted Jun 1, 2017 by Danielle Zack

Hi Foodies, Aaron is SO APPRECIATIVE of all the special meals you have made for his family!! He is truly overwhelmed with gratitude. He has noticed that each meal keeps the family fed for several days (!), and has gently requested that we slow down the frequency of the meals delivered from 4x/week to only 2x/week. He hates wasting such awesome food! So, IF you have signed up for a Wednesday meal, would you please change your day to a Monday in the future instead? (Available dates are now into late August.) The other meal train from Port Orchard & West Seattle will deliver a meal on Thursday, and delete their Saturday delivery. Voila! 2 meals a week for the Browns. Again, thank you for your generosity and consistency. "Food is our common ground, a universal experience." James Beard

Wow

Posted Apr 27, 2017 by Danielle Zack

Hi foodie friends, Wow. I am so excited to bless the Browns with food. The West Seattle Mom's group is ALSO doing a meal train and with the two of us combined, we probably have covered this family with meals for the next 5 months. Seriously! We do need to make a small change. I need everyone who chose a Friday to choose a Monday or Wednesday instead, down the road. The WSM's group will cover Thursdays and Saturdays, and we will cover Mondays and Wednesdays, which is plenty of food and groceries for the family. Also note, I've just learned that Aaron's mom will be living there for the next few months, so I'll change it from 1 adult to 2 adults (plus the 2 kiddos). Thanks SAC family for contributing in such a loving and practical way. Food nourishes the body, and sharing nourishes the soul. Much love and gratitude, Danielle Zack
