My heart breaks for Zoe’s family. I had the pleasure of my life getting to know Zoe over the last year as my employee, but she was more than that to me. She was a listener, full of humor, full of faith, and she radiated happiness and joy. We will always share memories of running in our run club and texting about memes and good songs. I will be tying her name to my shoe laces when I run my half marathon this weekend, as she was supposed to run on the same day. I’ll make sure I always cross the finish line for her.
